Guiding principles
Accessibility
Education should be reachable from the places professionals already work, including communities far from major centres.
Quality
Access matters only if the education is sound, current, and fit for clinical practice.
Collaboration
Hospitals, systems, and education partners shape the work together. CHEP does not arrive with a finished product and a quota.
Innovation
Delivery can change — live virtual, classroom, scheduling, instructor capacity — when the change serves learners and patients.
Evidence
CHEP will publish results when they exist. Until then, the public record stays blank rather than decorative.
Transparency
Eligibility, capacity, and terms should be understandable to the organizations asked to trust them.
Sustainability
A partnership has to be financially and operationally sustainable for the hospital and for the education partner.
Governance
CHEP is being established as a collaborative partnership. Decisions about eligibility, capacity, and evaluation will be recorded and visible to participating organizations. A governing body has not been appointed. This page will name its structure when that appointment is made.
